Inspired by the romantic tale of the world's first computer programmer, daughter of poet Lord Byron, this joyful gown is made from acres of pale pink gingham cotton gathered into a classic Bishop Smock neckline adorned with a blaze of hand smocked zigzags in ruby red threads. The A-line shape, raglan shoulder and keyhole opening create a flattering vertical silhouette that is softened and enhanced by a wealth of unapologetically feminine details - a dainty frill neckline, dramatic blouson sleeves with richly smocked cuffs, a wonderfully generous frill finish, cross-stitch trim and a detachable sash tie.
